Tiivistelmä:There are two sections of articles in this special issue. The first section consists of commentary articles pertaining to Rossiter's article on 'forms of marketing knowledge', which appeared in the first issue of this journal (2001, 1(1)). The section begins with a summary of the main points made in Rossiter's article by Sandra C. Jones, Project Manager of the Marketing Knowledge Project. Commentaries were invited from other members of the Marketing Knowledge Project's international academic panel. Commentary articles were received from Roderick J. Brodie of the University of Auckland, Mark Uncles of the University of New South Wales, Berend Wierenga of the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, and David Midgley of INSEAD, and they appear in this order.
