Tiivistelmä:The chances and risks of the market must be the driving force of business policy, as it is the reactions of the market that influence the success of an undertaking. Marketing as a whole must build both on theoretical and empirical knowledge, it must build on information about consumer demand. There are several approaches of modelling consumer demand. The article compares and reviews different microeconomic and theoretical models.
