| Tiivistelmä: | It was demonstrated by theory that oil price shocks and exchange rate changes have an impact on demand elasticity for non-oil import, namely that rising oil price and decreasing exchange rate increase price and income elasticities and vice versa. These theoretical suggestions are corroborated by this empirical analysis of US data. |
