| Tiivistelmä: | The principal force pushing Taiwan's economic development comes from foreign trade. As the conditions of competition changing, the industrial structure of Taiwan and the structure of its exported products have changed greatly: heavy chemical and other technically intensive industries have been gaining their weights, the exports of electronic, communication, machinery, electric machinery and appliance etc. increase greatly. But the pivotal spare parts of these exported hi-tech products needed in production are largely depended upon importation. The pivotal spare parts can not be made in Taiwan itself become the checking factor for Taiwan's economic development at present stage. |
