| Tiivistelmä: | Taiwan has recently adjusted its projects of investment in the mainland, There are 13 major projects concerning the construction of infrastructure facilities and 27 projects related to service and manufacturing industries, which are put under a ban. The 13 projects are railway, highway, harbour, airport, quick transportation, cremate, water conservancy, tap water, sewer, electric power (except a few plants), electricity-transmitting, power distribution and the development of industrial zones. The 27 projects include real estate, ethylene and radio communication. The ban is lifted on 757 projects including cement, hotel and news-providing. This new regulation began to become effective on 15, July, 1997. |
