| Tiivistelmä: | Cohort analysis was a famous method of market research for decades. Discussions around the method centered on the separation of age, period and cohort effects. The present article develops a model of cohort analytic forecasting which side-steps this separation problem. The working of the method is demonstrated on the example of tourism since 1971. |
