| Tiivistelmä: | Any company wanting to survive in the existing changing environment must be familiar with and know how to use the opportunities the environment offers and must be able to prevent the threats that this same environment poses.On the basis of such an assumption the author determines the factors of the environment, which justify the formation of either opportunities or threats.Since it is imperative for a firm to gather information on these factors of the environment, the author describes the approaches to informationgathering and the possibilities for using such methods of forecasting which enable the prognosis of change in a particular environment.The article ends in a hypothesis that the before defined information can be classified according to the impact it has on the firm (either positive or negative) into opportunities threats. |
