| Tiivistelmä: | This article discusses current literature on seasonal demand and presents an alternative vision to influential facts. The supply determinants of seasonal nature are related to accommodation as a representative of the tourism sector.The Balearic islands of Spain are used as a typical destinnation where fluctuation is high. Results suggest that accommodation with a wider range of service in terms of stars tend to have longer yearly opening periods. |
