| Tiivistelmä: | Environment orientation of corporations is an important condition of survival. A wide variety of environment relevant technological and legal requirements must be met, one of hte most crucial of them is associated with the treatment of production wastes. Four levels of environment oriented behaviour are distinguished concerning the "fate" of wastes: (1) safe disposal; (2) recycling; (3) reduction of the quantity of wastes; (4) prevention. The responsibility of the management and the relations between social, economic and ecological goals are analyzed, the incentive for and the goals of environment protection auditing are examined. |
