This was the theme of a recent seminar, Integrating IT with Business Strategy, co-hosted by Management Today and European Software Publishing, at the Institute of Directors in London. For the vast majority of companies, computers at best automate yesterday's manual systems, at worst leave them wallowing in a morass of ill-matched boxes that are apparently incapable of yielding useful information. |
