| Tiivistelmä: | This paper presents potential solutions to two important problems in the area of capital budgeting and company valuation. First, it is shown how to estimate unlevered cost of equity without referring to historic betas. Second, we suggest to replace common assumptions of financing strategies with a more realistic approach. The implications regarding the valuation results are shown on the basis of examples. |
