| Tiivistelmä: | In January 1990 the first of three government sanctioned private channels arrived in Spain: Antenna 3. The monopoly of the Spanish broadcaster RTVE is over. The second private channel, Telecino (TV5) is essentially the Berlusconi channel. In September Canal Plus was launched. The autonomous channels existing since the mid-80s have maintained a steady 14 to 16% share. |
