| Tiivistelmä: | Utility companies have a reputation of being paternalistic and slow. PG&E breaks the mold. A few years ago, HR introduced action forums: brainstorming, problem solving processes uniting employees and top decision makers to create change. The forums spur results, empower employees and save money. In the past three years, PG&E has hosted almost 80 action forums and has saved more than 270 million in cycle time reduction, productivity and performance improvement , cost avoidance, revenue enhancements and actual cost reductions. |
