Job Demands-Resources model
Kieli:eng
Tiivistelmä:The purpose of this research is to provide longitudinal evidence for the Job Demands-Resources model, to investigate the dynamic nature of the model in terms of loss and gain cycles and to integrate prospective company registered sickness absenteeism into the model. The results of this study reveal that 1) increases in job demands and decreases in job resources predict burnout, 2) increases in job resources preidct work engagement and 3) burnout (positively) and engagement (negatively) predict registered sickness duration and frequency, respectively.
