| Tiivistelmä: | Many companies obtain their business as a result of competitive tendering. Methodological understanding is increased and the appreciation of discernible competitive bidding strategies widened by investigating the problems of two construction companies (a kitchen equipment manufacturer and a civil engineering contractor). Detailed strategies are estimated only for the kitchen equipment manufacturer,due to the greater uncertainty in cost estimates for civil engineering contracts producing larger variability in outcomes. |
