| Tiivistelmä: | The empirical analysis tested the hypotheses postulated by the theory. As expected, the incidence of child labour depends negatively on the current human capital of parents. There is some evidence that increases in the quality of education reduce child labour, though no relationship was found between child labour and the cost of education. |
