Tiivistelmä:This study aims to explore the impact of affect-based (herein as: a-bd.) and cognition-based (as: cgn-bd.) trust of co-workers on the willingness of professionals to share and use tacit knowledge (as: TK). The relationships were explored via data from a sample of over 200 professionals and managers in world headquarters of an international organization.
It was found that the levels of both trust types influence the extent to which staff members want to share and use TK. A-bd. trust has a notably greater effect on the willingness to share TK, whereas cgn-bd. trust plays a greater role in willingness to use TK.
