| Tiivistelmä: | On the basis of a lot of quantitative statistics, this paper analyzes the history and current state of the backwardness in the development of China's basic industries (agriculture, energy industry and communication industry). At present, food price rise accounts for 50% of the country's inflation (21.3% in 1994), which shows the backwardness of agriculture. At the same time, because of the insufficient electric power, 20% of industrial productivity can not be brought into full play. The railway transportation can only satisfy 60% of demands, thus losing 400 billion yuan every year. |
