| Tiivistelmä: | The recent project of the German government called "Action programme for growth and employment" contains an important point relating to the financial advantages provided by the privatization potential of the Laender and municipalities. The possible benefits of privatization of some of the services of municipalities are investigated in the article. Selling out these services can improve the position of the budgets of municipalities, it can contribute to the financing of structural changes. The different forms, in which public firms can be transformed into private enterprises are also investigated. |
