| Tiivistelmä: | Diversification strategy has become an important means taken by many state-owned enterprises for seeking growth. The diversified business behavior of Chinese enterprises is associated with the special business environment including system arrangement and the internal conditions of enterprises. Their diversification investment is motivated by the following: grasping the new investment chances which are increasing continuously, avoiding the intense competition of the original leading industries, obtaining the facilities provided by the government and dispersing the too high risks. The state-owned enterprises' diversified business behavior which is beyond their growth stage will possibly bring some losses in efficiency. So this paper raises some policy suggestions. |
