| Tiivistelmä: | Since 1979, Guangdong province's GDP saw an average annual growth of over 13%. In 1994, the whole province's GDP reached 417.5 billion yuan with per capita output value amounting to 6292 yuan, surpassing the starting economic line of foreign investment, recognized generally worldwide. The 16-year rapid development in foreign trade has made the total export volume rank the first in the country for 9 years in succession. In 1994, it totalled USD 53.274 billion. The rapid economic development not only provides solid economic foundation for foreign investment and transnational operation but also makes transnational stock corporations have advantages for their formation. |
