| Tiivistelmä: | As a significant part of our society, persons with disabilities deserve recognition as part of the diverse workforce. Managers today must thoroughly understand and implement in letter and spirit the new Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Managers must analyze all jobs in order to remove bias and identify reasonable accommodation for providing persons with disabilities access to employment. Reviewing current personnel procedures and making necessary changes is advisable, together with consulting supplementary information sources recommended here. |
