| Tiivistelmä: | This paper investigates a method for allocating production resources to manufacturing tasks. The method is discussed with the help of a dynamic travelling salesman problem (DTSP). The method approaches the DTSP using a decision making procedure which can be adjusted with decision parameters, which affect the quality of the solution as well as the computational burden required for the procedure. In addition, the paper investigates how to select proper values for the decision parameters with the aid of statistically designed experiments. |
