| Tiivistelmä: | Chia Tia Group is foreign transantional corporation which has made most investment in agriculture in China. A total investment of US $ over one billion has been made in near one hundred projects related to farming and forestry with an annual output value of tens of billion yuan. This paper analyzes the modern agricultural form of operation of Chia Tia Group and the function of its investment on the development of China's agricultural enterprises and fodder industry. The author thinks that its investment has promoted the establishment of modern agricultural enterprises and the development of agricultural economy. Its strategy of investment in agriculture and "company plus peasant households" model are consistent with China's orientation of agricultural industrialization. |
