Tiivistelmä: | Today's decision makers need not only to function in a competitive environment but also to be able to cooperate with other companies, even competitors at times. Strategic alliances can be effective ways to diffuse new technologies rapidly, to enter a new market, to bypass governmental restrictions, and to learn quickly from the leading firms in a given field. To ensure smooth implementation of a cooperative strategy, decision makers must address four considerations: stakeholder blessing, internal support, strategic match, and the development of an overall strategic plan. |
