| Tiivistelmä: | The situation of industrial economic operation in 1996 is as follows: The growth rate of industrial production fell again evenly. The production growth of light industry and that of heavy industry were generally synchronous. Some progress was made in the adjustment of product mix. The link of production with marketing was not desirable and had not reached the normal level. The industrial economic returns slid down sharply and the state economy was worrying. In 1997, the industrial economy will face three possible situation. First, the situation will turn better. Second, the situation will be similar to last year's but the speed of production will fall slightly. Third, production and economic returns will slide down further. The author thinks that the second has the most possibility. |
