Tiivistelmä:Market research institutes provide clients periodically with extensive reports and charts. Processing these data is time consuming. The common project of GfK AG Nuremberg and University of Erlangen- Nuremberg, an expert system automatically creates reports on the change of sales volume by product category. The program systematically searches the data for significant developments. A hypertext system is employed to present the results combining verbal description, statistical tables and charts.
