Tiivistelmä:A survey of 490 internet users shows that many users take part in online contests or sweepstakes. 75 % of the respondents have done this at least once during the past year. When taking part in a contest or sweepstake, a third of the respondents have already been on the website of the company offering the promotion, while 45 % of the respondents have reached it from the outside - either through banner ads or search engines. The survey shows that sweepstakes and contests on the internet can be an attractive promotion instrument and offers insights into their optimal design.
