In the first article he writes how Ethiopia, one of the world's poorest countries, is hanging out the welcome mat for potential US investors. Ethiopia is also applying for loan insurance and guarantees under the Overseas Private Investment Corp., a move that can only help attract US investment. In the second article the author states that Ethiopia, the undisputed birthplace of arabica coffee, hopes better marketing will boost world-wide exports of its quality coffee and improve living standards. |
