| Tiivistelmä: | This article examines the effects of decentralized decision-making on labor market policy. The authors study a Swedish pilot program, which aimed to strengthen the role of local authorities in labor market decision-making. The results of the study indicate that municipalities use their increasing influence in order to improve their budgets at the expense of the central government. |
