| Tiivistelmä: | Seldom has a research area experienced such an explosive growth in interest as cognition in organizations during the 1990s. After a cautious start in the 1930s mainly within cognitive psychology it was almost four decades before the interest in studying cognitions specifically in organizations could become more widespread. Today, vigorous theoretical and empirical research can be seen on several fronts. A great many theoretical concepts and models have been suggested and used to capture the diverse aspects of individual or organizational thought patterns and processes. |
