| Tiivistelmä: | The present empirical study based on advertisements of appointments and questionnaires gives a report of the functions of controlling. Advertisements of appointments in leading daily papers in West Germany are analyzed. With the aid of mail questionnaires a varied empirical investigation of the function of controlling is carried out by using a theoretical conceptional framework. In the present empirical study great store is set by typical attributes of the function of controlling with regard to the size and branch of the companies. |
