| Tiivistelmä: | It is essential that the management review its written directive system to determine if it is congruent with the espoused management philosophy. Many are unaware that there is a conflict and have adopted their existing system out of habit without thinking through the implications. The organization's written directive system is the evidence of the organization's actual management philosophy. A participatory management philosophy is the best, for it empowers both the individuals and the organization, but it does so only if it is the theory in use as well as the supported theory. |
