| Tiivistelmä: | After analyzing the status quo of stock asset structure of China's iron and steel industry and the initial practice of optimizing asset structure in different areas, this paper thinks that there exist the following problems in iron and steel industry: too small scale, low concentration degree in production, low-level duplication in construction among enterprises, low level of overall technology and equipment, extensive business operation and poor ability of international competition. So in the coming years, several exceptionally large iron and steel conglomerates must be formed through asset concentration and re-organization in iron and steel industry. Only in this way can China become an iron and steel power. |
