| Tiivistelmä: | The prices of the steel products in the first half of this year were in the main gliding, the major cause of which was that the supply of resources was larger than demand. Other causes were a much larger output of steel products, the growth of their demand lower than that of resources supply, their sale at lower prices by their production and circulation enterprises and low-price steel products from abroad hitting the market at home. The growth of national economy may slow down in the second half of this year and therefore lead to the weakening of the growth of demand for steel products. The effect of a new policy shall be felt of the emphasis on constricting the production of steels by the state and on their production at home in place of exportation. |
