Tiivistelmä:Some studies report that an astonishing 80% of American employees have experienced some type of romantic relationship at work. Society and the workplace will continue to evolve, and as they do employers must develop policies to manage the issues that arise. Corporations themselves are responsible for many of the changes, such as their time demands on employees and the casual work environment. In conjunction with changes in our society, workplace romances have become common. Strong organizations will recognize the risks of employee romances and address the conflicting issues they present. The workplace should be pleasant, and employees should feel free to interact without fear of punishment. Employers must develop policies to minimize the substantial liability risks.
