| Tiivistelmä: | This study aims to improve the cognitive (hereafter as: cgn.) understanding of knowledge (here as: knw.) processing and provide a cgn. knw. modeling method in product design (as: dgn). There is a need to develop tools, methods and technology integrating seamlessly with the dgn. process. The study focuses on the internal human activities, exploring knowledge management (KM) research from a human factors perspective. Cgn. knw. modeling will result in a natural integration of knowledge-based systems into the dgn. process. |
