| Tiivistelmä: | Employee communications within a fast-moving consumer goods company are examined. Communications as information sharing is defined. A closed loop communication was built. An attitude survey was used as the basis for developing a communication strategy. 377 staff completed the questionnaire. Insufficient feedback on performance was found. Over 40 per cent expressed job satisfaction. Over half the employees felt impersonal management style. Both content and channels of communications were examined. Levels of trust in management and colleagues were low. As a response to the survey key areas of improvement were determined and plans for increasing the involvement were elaborated. |
