Tiivistelmä: | Business organizations across the world have benefited from the knowledge and management philosophy of W. E. Deming. Profound knowledge, as defined by Deming , is a much needed element in the workings of continual improvement in business organizations. The concept of profound knowledge is explored, first by seeing how Deming's use of the term interacts with concepts behind his l4 points to management, and then by expanding it to a broader perspective. Profound knowledge is presented as the requisite intelligence needed to implement the scientific method, or the PDSA cycle, for continuous improvement of quality. |
