| Tiivistelmä: | The survey shows quality management to be alive and to some extent well in the UK, but there are important concerns about its implementation and its effects. Quality management practices are found to be largely customer/ client driven. Senior management, especially recently appointed managers, were also taking the lead in initiating new quality management practices and very few respondents saw quality as primarily the responsibility of the quality control specialists and, few organizations said they did not or could not measure quality improvements. |
