| Tiivistelmä: | Self-managing teams have been credited with many advantages. They include increased quality and productivity, a better working life for employees, less absenteesm and lower staff turnover. however, there has been relatively little explanation of the factors that can inhibit the success for self-managing teams. The threats groups face when making decisions are particularly challenging. This article explores these threats in detail. Self managing teams involve members, with different skills and experiences, coming together to solve problems and perform work. |
