| Tiivistelmä: | An important development in business over the last decade has been the growing strategic importance of quality management. It is difficult to gain an accurate picture of the actual effects of quality management initiatives in the UK. There is a real need for a more broadly based perspective on quality management than is currently available. The aim of this article is to shed some light on the state of quality management.
