| Tiivistelmä: | There exist some new forms and new trends in foreign direct investment in China in recent years. Among them, the most conspicuous manifestation is that foreign business people have made state-owned enterprises foreign-funded ones or foreign side-controlled holding ones through merger. In the course of merger, foreign business people target the industries with the advantage of traditional technology, which have wide domestic market and good overseas market, and the large and medium-sized production enterprises with good economic returns and prospects. This paper analyzes the motive of foreign business people for merger and the advantages and disadvantages of merger and also raises the countermeasures like introducing foreign investment through many channels. |
