| Tiivistelmä: | The founding rates of 648 motorcycle organizations are in the United Kingdom between 1895 and 1993 are examined here. The recent findings on spatial density dependence are collated with those related to the temporal heterogeneity of legitimation and competition. The results emphasize the significancy of taking into account the geographical configuration of organizational populations to comprehend their evolution. |
