| Tiivistelmä: | 'Intercultural learning' is often used to describe of being an expatriate. Through an anthropological fieldwork in a Danish subsidiary in Saudi Arabia, it is argued that group dynamics and the social organization of the expatriate community have to be taken into account. It is shown especially how both the professional sphere and the private sphere of the expatriate group have important implications to intercultural learning and interaction (original in Norwegian). |
