Tiivistelmä:Dual career families are increasing in many countries. In the United Kingdom 62 per cent of all women between 16 and 59 work. Most corporate personnel policies are still based on male-dominated career structures however. Job relocation, career break are suggested. Employers and employees would mutually agree on what needs to be done over several weeks, months, or even a year depending on the job, the organization and industry. Control would be left to the employee to manage his/her own time to achieve the agreed objectives. This would enable dual career husbands and wives to plan their preparation for work, the work itself and their personal commitments.
