| Tiivistelmä: | There are basically two kinds of joint ventures according to the degrees of both sides' participating in management, that is, equate partner and associate joint ventures. Both Chinese side and foreign side have many modes and ways of control over a joint venture. The main ones are as follows: 1. control over a board of directors by having majority stake. 2. making use of their own superiority in technology and management or through the arrangement of personnel. 3. using various agreements, such as agreement on technological transfer, marketing of products, and management projects. |
