| Tiivistelmä: | Supplier selection has become one of the major issues in manufacturing management and deserves a formal, objective and easy to use solution approach. The aim of this study is to design an AHP model which envelopes all qualitative and quantitative elements inherent in this problem. A thorough analysis of JIT purchasing requirements and applicability results in a comprehensive AHP structure. The model implemented in an electro motor manufacturer in Turkey provides rational and applicable results. |
