| Tiivistelmä: | In this study, the performance of alternative loading and sequencing rule combinations in an Air Force depot production shop which employs computer numerical controlled (CNC) machines was evaluated. While handling high priority jobs well, the shop was plagued by poor due date performance, especially with respect to routine jobs. Several straightforward recommendations emerged, some of which have subsequently been implemented with positive results. |
