Tiivistelmä:Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is a method for evaluating the relative effectiveness of decision-making units by comparing their aggregated input/output ratios. Inputs and outputs are aggregated into homogeneous quantities using arbitrary weights. Reducing weight flexibility has been suggested as a method for ensuring that the solution to data envelopment analysis do not give rise unreasonably low weightings to certain inputs or outputs. In the paper the use of reducing weight flexibility is extended and it is used to model the effects of the decision-making unit's objectives on its efficiency relative to other units with possibly different goal objectives.
